Whether you come for a day of prayer or an extended retreat, the Jesuits at Sacred Heart are committed to offering a presence that is attentive, respectful, and grounded. Their role is not to direct outcomes, but to help create space where God’s voice can be heard more clearly.

  • Fr. Joe Laramie, SJ

    Fr. Joe Laramie, SJ

    Fr. Joe entered the Society of Jesus in 2000 and was ordained in 2011. His ministry has included teaching at the high school level, serving as a college campus minister, and accompanying communities in Mayan villages in Belize. Most recently, he served as the national director of the Pope’s Prayer Network.

    Fr. Joe has extensive experience leading group retreats and is widely known for helping people enter more deeply into prayer. He is featured on the Hallow app, EWTN, Busted Halo, and in America magazine, and is the author of two books focused on personal retreat, devotion to the Sacred Heart, and the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola. He began serving as Director of Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat House in August 2025.

  • Fr. Warren Broussard, SJ

    Fr. Warren Broussard, SJ

    Fr. Warren was ordained in 1988 and has spent much of his Jesuit life in pastoral ministry, including service as a parish pastor and retreat house director. He has a particular love for accompanying retreatants through longer retreats, including 5-, 8-, and 30-day Ignatian retreats.

    Over the years, Fr. Warren has also served as Assistant Novice Director and Provincial Assistant for Parishes and Retreat Houses. His formation includes a business degree, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Social Work. Though born in the lowlands of Louisiana, he has come to love the high deserts of New Mexico and the mountains of Colorado, where he continues to accompany others in prayer and discernment.

  • Fr Dan White, SJ

    Fr. Dan White, SJ

    Fr Dan served as a pastor in St Louis MO and in Belize, Central America.

    Note: Due to his travel schedule, he does NOT offer personally directed retreats [5day, 8day]. He leads weekend retreats and days of prayer.

    He was born in Wisconsin and met the Jesuits during his studies at St Louis University. He has served on the staff of the Jesuit novitiate. He is admired for his thoughtful and inspired preaching. He also serves the Central & Southern Province Jesuits, overseeing retreat houses and parishes.

  • Deacon Tom Sandusky

    Deacon Tom was ordained in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, serving at St. Brigid in Johns Creek, Georgia. He trained and served at Ignatius House, Jesuit Retreat Center, Atlanta Georgia, after receiving a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Spring Hill College, Mobile, Alabama.

    Tom received an MA in Christian Spirituality, from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. He is incardinated in the Diocese of Colorado Springs, serving at Pax Christi in Lone Tree, Colorado.  In the Ignatian Tradition, Tom organized the training and development of spiritual directors throughout the Diocese of Colorado Springs.

    He and his wife Susan, have two married sons and five grandchildren.

    Mika Rizzo

    Mika Rizzo grew up in Texas. She converted to the Catholic faith in 2014. She moved to Colorado to attend college and subsequently enjoyed a 20+ year career in accounting/finance. Mika was drawn out of her career in the business world to become a Spiritual Director. 

    In 2022, she was missioned, through the Lanteri Center for Ignatian Spirituality in Denver, as a Spiritual Director and in 2024, she was missioned to lead exercitants in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. In 2025, Mika was invited on staff at the Lanteri Center.  As a staff member, Mika’s responsibilities include being a formator/teacher in the formation classes of new directors, being a supervisor to directors, organizing and directing silent retreats, being a part of workshops/seminars, and assisting with the financials of the Lanteri Center.  She is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with family, golfing, reading, walking with others in their faith journey, serving in her parish and deepening her own faith.
